Photography of the Latest NAFFCO Airport Fire Trucks in Dubai
Photographing emergency response vehicles is very different from photographing ordinary commercial trucks. Every detail matters—from the engineering and design to the lighting that highlights the scale and power of these machines. This recent project involved photographing two of the latest NAFFCO Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles: one 4×4 model and one 6×6 model, both designed for rapid emergency response at international airports.
As a professional commercial and automotive photographer in Dubai, I always aim to create images that are both technically accurate and visually striking. These photographs are designed not only for marketing and corporate presentations but also for websites, brochures, annual reports, social media campaigns, exhibitions, and international publications.
Sunset to Night Photography
We began the photoshoot during the golden hour to capture the vehicles under soft natural light. As the sun disappeared, the session continued well into the night, allowing us to create dramatic images that emphasized the impressive size and engineering of these airport fire trucks.
The transition from sunset to darkness created two completely different visual styles:
- Clean, natural photographs that showcase the vehicle design.
- Cinematic nighttime images with professional artificial lighting.
- High-end commercial photographs suitable for global marketing campaigns.

NAFFCO is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of firefighting equipment, rescue vehicles, fire protection systems, and safety solutions. Their Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles are specifically engineered to protect passengers, aircraft, airport personnel, and airport infrastructure during emergency situations.
These specialized fire trucks feature:
- High-speed acceleration despite their large size
- Large-capacity water and foam tanks
- Powerful roof and bumper-mounted monitors
- Advanced pumping systems
- Aircraft rescue equipment
- Compliance with international airport safety standards
They are used by airports around the world where rapid response time is critical.

Advanced Composite Photography
Several of the final nighttime photographs were created using composite lighting techniques. Instead of relying on a single exposure, we captured multiple photographs from the same camera position while lighting different areas of the vehicle individually. During post-production, these exposures were carefully blended into one final image.
This professional technique produces:
- Perfectly balanced lighting
- Maximum detail across the entire vehicle
- Natural reflections
- Dramatic contrast
- High-end commercial quality suitable for advertising and international publications
This approach is commonly used for luxury automotive photography, industrial equipment, aircraft, construction machinery, and large commercial vehicles.
Professional commercial photography for heavy vehicles, airport equipment, industrial machinery, and emergency vehicles typically starts from AED 3,000 to AED 5,000.
A standard session usually lasts 2–3 hours, depending on:
- Number of vehicles
- Lighting complexity
- Day and night photography
- Location permissions
- Required post-production
- Composite image creation
Every project is individually planned to achieve the highest possible visual quality.
If your company manufactures, supplies, or operates industrial vehicles, airport equipment, emergency response units, luxury automobiles, or commercial fleets, I can help create premium photography that showcases your products with precision and impact.
With more than 20 years of professional photography experience and extensive expertise in automotive and commercial photography, I deliver images that combine technical accuracy with creative lighting and premium visual quality.
