I’ve always admired fans of classic cars, especially when the car is part of a big story. It is always very interesting for me to hear the story of each car, which gives me an additional desire to do something extraordinary in order to preserve a part of the big story in a creative way. As a rule, photographing classic cars takes a lot of time. The first stage is very important. I have to understand the client’s wishes, how he imagines the photo shoot.
It is important to consider which shades the client wants to see. Sometimes clients want something new and unusual, but not for them. Considering that photography is not allowed everywhere in Dubai, you always have to look for interesting places. But there are so few of them, especially the beautiful ones, where photography is allowed. It is also easy when the client knows exactly what he wants and has approximate examples for a photo shoot. Naturally each order is assessed regarding complexity and creativity. I’ll tell you a little secret. To get the perfect photo, sometimes I have to take more than 6-8 pictures for one frame. The whole difficulty is to create something new using unusual camera angles and artificial light sources.
